Something I used to do
Robert Johnson
In primary school, everybody thought I'd be going to art school. I never went, figuring out quite early on I had very few ideas to express that way. And when I started on the guitar around 1992, that was kinda it.
But when in 1998 a music store in Tartu asked me if I could produce a series of drawings they could then frame and hang on their walls, I jumped at the chance to supplement my income. Of course, they wanted me to do portraits of guitar players like Clapton and Satriani, and I did a Johnson instead. So they abandoned their plan.
The picture of "Uncle Robert" I've kept for some reason; it still seems to speak to me somehow.

Something to do with frogs???
I like the drawing!!!
Thanks for your visit & get out & fish, Its relaxing!!!
With fishing though, the scary part for me has been getting up at 4 in the morning, which is what the guys here do -- mainly rivers and lakes around Tartu.
It gets harder and harder to find factual history because they keep sanitizing it "for the children".
I can't believe the removed the cig for the postage stamp! Self medicating with booze, nicotine, loose women(or men) and drugs is as much a part the blues mythos as hard drinking is associated with great writers.
Do you painting with acrylic too?
